MERCHANTS PRIVATE DINING - POLICIES

Banquet and Third Floor Policy

-    Parties of 15 or more will be on a limited menu. The reason for a limited menu is to insure timely service and an enjoyable evening.

-    Your limited menu is needed 2 weeks prior to your function date. This will help us in planning your dinner with the proper service staff and kitchen staff. At this time, please estimate your guest count within 10.

-    A 72-hour guarantee of your party numbers is required.

-    A credit card or deposit check are required to reserve a private room.

-    A room minimum will be in effect. Please ask the Director of Sales & Special Evemts to go over this policy with you.

-    All parties will be on one check. Payment is required at the end of the function.

-    A 20% gratuity charge will be added before tax. Tennessee sales tax is 9.25 percent.

-    There is a $75 bar set up fee for bars. A bar is required for groups of 30 or larger who plan to have cocktails (you will not need a bar if you offer wine and beer only.)

-    Carving Stations or Chef Stations for Receptions require a $50 fee per chef. One Chef is needed per 50 people.

-    All parties are subject to approval by the Executive Chef and General Manager. All live music must be approved prior to the event. No DJs, Bands with Drums or Sound Amplification is permitted. Acoustic music only.

- There is a $2 per person cake cutting fee for guests who bring in their own desserts.

- Valet parking is available Mondays through Saturdays from 5:00 PM to 11:00pm, unless it is specifically requested and is able to be arranged by the valet company. Valet parking is $5 per car.
